Richard Turnbull :

The author is a Corvallis, Oregon resident whose journal maintained throughout the ten years following his wife's diagnosis with Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease served as the basis for his memoir, "Fade To Black: An Alzheimer's Love Story". The author's hobbies are fly-fishing, hiking and duplicate bridge. He is dedicated to living life in the moment and that all moments are indeed momentous.

As an observer of life, as all of us are, my life has been filled with hopes, dreams, and adventures. I've watched as our country has grown up and grown apart. Our political parties have traded allegiance to country for allegiance to party. The nation has lost the idealism on which it was founded. The constitution has been superseded by a 24-hour "news" cycle that feasts on hyperbole and fuels the hatred and bitterness that divide us. I wrote "Dissolution" as a cautionary tale about the fragility of democracy.

"Husbandry: Volume 1" is a light-hearted look at the challenges of surviving as a modern husband and father.
